Google and GDG Kolachi recently hosted an engaging AI Seekho session at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, and Cloud Infrastructure. This initiative, powered by Google Cloud, aims to equip aspiring professionals with hands-on experience and industry-relevant AI skills.
With over 100 attendees, the event emphasized AI education under the theme “Karachi Walo AI Seekho”, reinforcing the importance of AI adoption in Pakistan’s growing tech ecosystem. AI Seekho offers a structured curriculum, hands-on training, and mentorship from industry experts, helping learners master AI, ML, and cloud-based technologies using Google Cloud tools like Gemini and Vertex AI.
Under the guidance of Arhum Ishtiaq (CTO & Co-founder of ConnectHear) and GDG Kolachi’s expert team, including Danella Patrick, Hassam Jawed, Hassan Mujtaba, Aashir Ahmed, Muhammad Ateeb, Hafiz Munim, Fizza Khan, and Huzaifa Habib, participants gained valuable insights into AI development, cloud computing, and problem-solving techniques.
The event featured live demos, expert discussions, interactive workshops, and networking sessions, bridging the gap between academia and industry by providing real-world AI applications. The Google Cloud self-study program also allows developers to enhance their AI and machine learning skills online, with incentives like Google Cloud swag packs for completing learning challenges between January 23 – February 20, 2025.
