Apple has launched Apple Invites, a new app that simplifies event planning for iPhone users. Available on the App Store and iCloud.com, it lets users create invitations, track RSVPs, manage event albums, and curate Apple Music playlists. iCloud+ subscribers can create invites, while anyone can RSVP, regardless of device or Apple account.
Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s Senior Director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud, highlighted how Apple Invites enhances event experiences from invitation creation to memory sharing. The app integrates with iCloud and Apple Music to streamline event management.
Key features include custom event backgrounds, Maps and Weather integration for directions and forecasts, and a Shared Album where guests can contribute photos and videos. Apple Music users can also create collaborative playlists directly in the app.
With Apple Intelligence, users can generate personalized invitation visuals using Image Playground and refine invite text with Writing Tools.
Hosts can easily manage RSVPs, share invitations via a link, and control event details. Guests can respond through the app or web, even without an Apple account.
iCloud+ benefits include expanded storage, Private Relay, and Custom Email Domains, starting at $0.99/month. Apple Invites is now available for iOS 18+ and on icloud.com/invites.
